Cowen Institute Featured in Advocate Story on FAFSA Completion in Louisiana

In an article published today in The Advocate, Dr. Amanda Kruger Hill, the Cowen Institute’s Executive Director was quoted about the state’s declining FAFSA completion rates for high schoolers. The article covered how the removal of the requirement for all high schoolers to complete the FAFSA prior to graduation has impacted completion rates. Dr. Hill stated, “While many counselors see it as important, it isn’t necessarily prioritized in the same way.”
